Dormancy

i don't think i've directly talked about my life here, like it's always fun topics i'm interested in or some anecdotes of online stuff but never my actual self.

just this year, i started studying a career in software engineering and i'd say it's been going pretty well. i study on the weekends, and we see one class through the course of three weekends. it's good since we won't be overwhelmed by regular class schedules and sometimes having 3 exams the same day, but it also means we see the same exact class for 8 or 4 hours straight.

currently, we're seeing maths. and learning stuff like numeral systems, logical propositions, and sets. soon, we'll practice more on circuits too. out of all the classes we've seen, this one is probably the most overwhelming. not to say that i don't quite understand it, but i'm not too fond of it.

do employers just see the engineers as the machines themselves?

outside of my college life, things are alright. i made a song for REGRETEVATOR and it's the first time someone's ever paid me for my work, which felt really strange, but gratifying. i plan on using the money to fix my 3DS' charging port.

the charging port broke several months ago, and i stopped using it in fear of draining the battery (since it was at 50%). the problem being that i didn't know how much a replacement would cost, or if i was good enough to replace it myself. i want to leave it up to repair in one of those little videogame tech support establishments, and finally get the satisfaction of playing in my 3DS again.

recently, we changed internet providers and now we have a more faster and reliable internet speed. before this, my 3DS barely picked up any internet and couldn't play online, now i'm looking forward to getting it fixed to have some more fun.

yesterday, my phone battery got swollen. and i couldn't turn it on whatsoever. i left it at a repair shop to change its battery and the replacement was a fair enough price, i just picked it up today. the fingerprint unlock doesn't work anymore though, but what matters is that it works. off of the cost of the battery replacement, i could imagine the cost of fixing the 3DS. so that's why i want to do it with my payment.

i've been playing a lot of ROBLOX recently, specially Frozen Soul. a yume nikki-inspired game that is really great and expansive. but really difficult, too. there are badges you need to get in order to have more progression in the story and convenience, and their requirements are just ridiculous at times. but i've been loving it a lot. i even made my own OC! his name is T.I. Theodore.

sorry for not updating the website as frequently anymore, i feel like i'm out of ideas on what i could do next. it's been a month since the index page last updated but i want to make something big in order to change it to something else. did you know i always try to add at least 4 changes to the changelog list? well now you know, which is why i want to make another big update soon.

thanks for reading.
