* This entry is about Undertale

* Undertale.

* I assume you know what Undertale is already.

* As much as Undertale means to a lot of people, it means something to me too. Toby has managed to influence art directions, ways of thinking, aspiring musicians, game developers, and me too. I don't think I would ever be where I am if it weren't for Undertale.

* I remember 9 years ago, playing Undertale for the first time. I had to play a Spanish fan-made translation because I wouldn't have understood what most of it said either way, and it moved me. Not really emotionally since I was also eight years old so I also had a very clueless mind but it really captivated me. I watched a lot of Undertale videos, I played several Undertale fangames, I drew a lot of Undertale-related shenanigans, even going out of my way to install the game in school computers.

* Through Undertale, I've met a lot of wonderful people. I remember making a small friend group where we played together, and shared videos together through that discontinued YouTube DMing feature. I haven't heard from any of them since 2020, and I hope they're doing well.

* If it weren't for Undertale, I wouldn't have ever discovered ROBLOX. I remember trying to look for 3D Undertale maps to look around in, since I couldn't install GMod, and Second Life was kind of clunky, the Undertale Roleplay games ended up being my go-to.

* If it weren't for Undertale, I never would've been interested in SiIvaGunner. You might know how much SiIvaGunner means to me, so Undertale being a big factor to why I'm so familiar with it is also as important. I never would have known about Undertale recreations, I never would have picked up ripping on my own.

* As much shade as Undertale recreation folks throw at Toby, you need to admit he is a really good composer. It's gotten to a point where Undertale's OST alone is nostalgic, specially the leitmotifs he's written for the characters we all know.

* It's crazy to think that Toby himself thought that Undertale was just gonna be a 7/10 RPG game that everyone would've moved on from. It's crazy to think how much Undertale has meant to a lot of people.

* I'm really excited to see what DELTARUNE will have in store. Undertale was meant to be proof that the formula worked, and it did very effectively. It's fascinating how far Undertale has come.
